We were very pleased with Blue Horse’s remodeling job. Our 1970 era ranch style house needed updating and we did a complete overhaul of the kitchen and some of the living area (including some major structural items). Fred and Jake at Blue Horse were very hands-on, and communication was excellent throughout the process. They interacted well with our architect (including offering some cost saving ideas that also enhanced the design), and their employees were very professional and courteous. We recommend Blue Horse without hesitation.

The three most important qualifications we judge a contractor  are; value, quality and timeliness. Blue Horse met or exceeded all three of these areas for the work they performed on our house. We initially contracted with Blue Horse to install the SIP roof on our new home, the initial time estimate was 3 days ( time was critical since a crane was involved) the project was completed faster than the time estimate and the quality and value met our expectations.

After our SIPs experience we then decided to  use Blue Horse to do all the exterior siding on the project. Again the timelines and budget were met and the quality of the detailed work was impeccable. Blue Horse detailed the siding of our house as if they were building furniture, their attention to detail is great. We would highly recommend them!

The project that Blue Horse Building completed for us was a challenge in many ways. Our design involved using ICF's and SIP's and included an indoor pool. The final result would never have been achieved without the valuable input from Jake during every step of the process.

Jake made very creative suggestions to solve some difficult design and engineering problems and to basically just improve the final result. He made our work easier by clearly outlining what product decisions we had to make and when and guided us to make better decisions.
